Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions are used throughout the document:

Format |
A group of sites with similar design or style (In retail also known as the formula). Every site belongs to only one format |
Area |
A lighting control area (for example Sales floor or Back of house) |
Scene |
A specific set of light levels that can be edited and recalled |
Child area |
A lighting control zone (like Bakery or Fresh food) included inside an Area (for example Sales floor) |
Logical channel |
A lighting control sub-zone included inside a Child area (like Bakery spots or Bakery counter) |
Concepts |
Light concept including the defined areas, scenes, child areas, logical channels etc. to be used in a format |
Schedules |
Set of all scheduled events (simple events, special events, holidays) that automatically control the lighting of the sites in a specific format |
